Our mirrors are made of plant fibers. They therefore smell and feel wonderfully of nature.
Rattan palms typically grow in large numbers in dense forests, where they are considered invasive plants, taking up space from other plants and draining many nutrients from the soil. The stems, which grow quickly without chemical additives, must be cut regularly and, after drying, can be used as material for furniture and baskets. This makes rattan an extremely sustainable and abundant material.

This mirror is handmade in Java, Indonesia. When selecting our local producers, we value fair wages and good working conditions. In the factories where we source our goods, we employ only mature and experienced artisans. No harmful chemicals are used in the production process. We ensure this through regular on-site visits and ongoing personal contact with the companies.
