With its classic, round shape and beautiful details, our medium-sized Dasa rug perfectly complements the boho look of your living room or bedroom. It is hand-woven from seagrass, complemented by raffia fringes.
The rug and fringes may not lie completely flat on the floor at first. This is normal, and it will disappear after a few days of walking on it.

Main material: seagrass
Our rugs are made of plant fibers. This gives them a wonderful scent and a natural feel.
What basket makers commonly call "seagrass" is not actually an (underwater) plant, but a small, palm-like plant that is widespread on sandy beaches in the tropics of Asia. The leaves of the plants, often cultivated by humans, are separated, cut into strips, dried, and then processed by hand.

This rug is handmade in Java, Indonesia.
When selecting our local producers, we value fair wages and good working conditions. In the factories where we source our goods, we employ only mature and experienced artisans. No harmful chemicals are used in the production process. Because all work steps are carried out by hand, the production process generates minimal greenhouse gas emissions. We guarantee this through regular on-site visits and ongoing personal contact with the companies.
