Pintu is a decorative tray with a unique weave: thin seagrass fibers are bound into thick strands and assembled into a round, surprisingly stable tray. The long handles of twisted seagrass complete the striking and charming design.
Pintu is available in two different sizes and offers countless possibilities for enhancing your dining or side table. Material: Seagrass
Our trays are made of plant fibers. They therefore smell and feel wonderfully of nature.
What basket makers commonly call "seagrass" is not actually an (underwater) plant, but a small, palm-like plant that is widespread on sandy beaches in the tropics of Asia. The leaves of the plants, which are often cultivated by humans, are separated, cut into strips, dried, and then processed by hand.

Production location:
This tray is handmade in Java, Indonesia.
When selecting our local producers, we value fair wages and good working conditions. Only mature and experienced artisans work at the companies where we source our goods. No harmful chemicals are used in the production process. Because all work steps are carried out by hand, the production process generates minimal greenhouse gas emissions. We ensure this through regular on-site visits and ongoing personal contact with the companies.
We verzenden mooie dingen, en dat ook nog eens razendsnel. De meeste bestellingen worden binnen 2-3 werkdagen verzonden. Je ontvangt een tracking nummer zodra je pakket onderweg is. Begin maar met controleren.
Toch niet naar je zin? Geen probleem. Als het niet helemaal in orde is, heb je 30 dagen de tijd om je artikel te retourneren – zonder gedoe. Zorg ervoor dat het ongebruikt is en in de originele verpakking zit en ga vervolgens naar ons [Retourportaal] om te beginnen.
