Bara, made of coarsely woven seagrass, immediately stands out with its playful look. The rectangular rug has soft fringes at the ends that give it that little something extra.
You can use the small rug as a runner in the hallway or bathroom, creating a more relaxed atmosphere, but it also makes a great footrest next to the bed. We really enjoy this use, as it wakes our feet every morning with the pleasantly rough feel of the seagrass.

Main Material: Seagrass
Our rugs are made of plant fibers. They therefore smell and feel wonderfully of nature.
What basket makers commonly call "seagrass" is not actually an (underwater) plant, but a small, palm-like plant that is widespread on sandy beaches in the tropics of Asia. The leaves of the plants, which are often cultivated by humans, are separated, cut into strips, dried, and then processed by hand.

This rug is handmade in Java, Indonesia.
When selecting our local producers, we value fair wages and good working conditions. In the factories where we source our goods, we employ only mature and experienced artisans. No harmful chemicals are used in the production process. Because all work steps are carried out by hand, the production process generates minimal greenhouse gas emissions. We ensure this through regular on-site visits and ongoing personal contact with the companies.
We verzenden mooie dingen, en dat ook nog eens razendsnel. De meeste bestellingen worden binnen 2-3 werkdagen verzonden. Je ontvangt een tracking nummer zodra je pakket onderweg is. Begin maar met controleren.
