The Adari plate-shaped wall basket, made of natural banana fiber, is available in two different sizes for a variety of decor ideas. It allows you to express your natural approach to life.
The embroidered cotton cord pattern makes the Adari a particularly beautiful eye-catcher. Using the loop on the back, it can easily be attached to any wall in your home—no more than a nail or hook is needed.
Our wall baskets can also be used as decorative bowls.

Main material: banana fiber
Our wall decorations are made from plant fibers. They therefore smell and feel wonderfully of nature.
Banana fibers are fibers derived from the layered trunks of banana trees in agriculture. The intense brown color develops naturally when the fibers are dried in the sun for about a week. The individual strips are then rolled into the characteristic strands, which are approximately 6 mm thick. Only old, dying banana trees are used for this material. This gives these useful plants a second life as dimensionally stable and robust starting material for many handmade baskets here at Soeji.

This wall art is handmade in Java, Indonesia.
When selecting our local producers, we value fair wages and good working conditions. Only mature and experienced artisans work at the companies where we source our goods. No harmful chemicals are used in the production process. Because all work steps are carried out by hand, the production process generates minimal greenhouse gas emissions. We ensure this through regular on-site visits and ongoing personal contact with the companies.
